Legacy Heat Volleyball Club is a premier National and Regional all-girls travel volleyball program focused on developing strong, confident, and highly skilled athletes. Our mission is to inspire a legacy of excellence through competitive play, personal growth, discipline, and a lasting passion for the game.

We serve athletes ages 11–18 who are ready to take their volleyball skills to the next level in a structured, high-energy training environment built for long-term development and competitive success.

Director of Volleyball Hayle Loechle

Hayle Loechle brings a strong background in both playing and coaching volleyball, along with a passion for developing confident, competitive athletes on and off the court. She played high school volleyball at Pike High School and Brownsburg High School before continuing her career at the NCAA Division I level with Mississippi Valley State University.

Hayle currently coaches with Legacy Heat Volleyball Club, a National and Regional all-girls travel volleyball program focused on developing strong, skilled athletes through competitive play, high-level training, and personal growth. She works with athletes ages 11–18, helping players elevate their volleyball IQ, technical skills, confidence, and teamwork in a positive and challenging environment.

In addition to coaching with Legacy Heat, Hayle has previous coaching experience with Munciana Indy, where she helped athletes grow both individually and as teammates. She is passionate about mentoring young players and believes in building a culture centered around discipline, hard work, accountability, and a love for the game.

Hayle is committed to helping athletes reach new goals while inspiring a lasting passion for volleyball and creating a legacy of excellence both on and off the court.

The National season runs from November through June.

The Regional season runs from December through May.
3How often do National teams practice?
National teams practice three times per week, including: Two weekday practices, one weekend practice.
4How often do Regional teams practice?
Regional teams practice two times per week, with practices scheduled on weekdays (Monday–Friday).
5How many tournaments will National teams attend?
National teams typically compete in 2–3 tournaments per month throughout the season.
6How many tournaments will Regional teams attend?
Regional teams typically compete in 1–2 tournaments per month throughout the season.
7What are the travel commitments for National teams?
Tournaments may take place in various states throughout the season. Some events are designated as “Stay-to-Play” tournaments, which require teams to book accommodations through approved tournament hotel partners.
8What are the travel commitments for Regional teams?
Regional teams will travel a maximum of approximately two hours for competition. No overnight hotel stays are required.
9Do I need to attend all tryout dates?
While not required, athletes are strongly encouraged to attend at least two tryout sessions to allow coaches multiple opportunities to evaluate their skills and potential.
10What is the difference between Summer and Fall tryouts?
Summer tryouts provide athletes with the opportunity to secure a roster position before the second round of tryouts in the fall. Benefits of Summer Tryouts include: 1.)Earlier team formation and roster placement 2.)Better access to hotel accommodations and travel rates 3.)More time for families to plan schedules and travel 4.)Earlier tournament registrations 5.)Additional time for uniform ordering, roster management, and administrative preparation This process helps create a smoother transition between tryouts and the start of the competitive season.
11Will teams be fully formed during Summer tryouts?
We aim to maximize team placement opportunities and complete as many rosters as possible during summer tryouts.
12Where will tryouts be held?
All tryouts will take place at: Legacy Courts 2660 Schuyler Ave, Unit F Lafayette, IN 47909
13Will cuts be made?
Legacy Heat is committed to providing opportunities for as many athletes as possible. We strive to form the maximum number of teams while maintaining appropriate skill-level placement. Athletes whose skill level does not align with available team openings may not be offered a roster position.
14Does every player receive equal playing time?
No. Playing time is earned through: 1.)Consistent effort 2.)Positive attitude 3.)Attendance and commitment 4.)Performance during practices and competitions Coaches determine playing time based on what they believe best supports team success and athlete development.
15What is included in club fees?
At Legacy Heat, what you see is what you pay—there are no hidden fees. Club fees include: · Coaching salaries · Tournament entry fees · Coach travel expenses · Court rental and practice facilities · Volleyball equipment · Player uniform and apparel package. No additional club-related fees will be added during the season beyond the published club tuition.
